Most glamping is considerably less expensive than staying in a hotel. And you can rest easy knowing that your money is well spent. Much like AirBnB or VRBO, supporting glamping means supporting individuals and their small businesses.
When you glamp, scout skills aren't necessary, and you won't need to pack the whole house. Just a few necessities. Then show up, sit back, and enjoy the simplicity and fun of being outdoors.

"Preston's Path" is our private walking trail with scenic views, resting areas, and picnic spot.

WELCOME!
To Freckled Fanny Farm! In 2015, after spending 30 years in the same house in Kansas City, Jim and Kelly Scott decided to relocate to the country and homestead this small farm.
Jim and Kelly both love nature, camping, and would probably live outside if they could! Always desiring to do something together as a business, the small farm in Tunas, MO, gave them the opportunity to do just that!
We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy the prospect of hosting you. Cheers!
Freckled Fanny Farm is situated out in the country, roughly halfway between Bennett Spring (known for trout fishing and kayaking), and Osage Beach at Lake of the Ozarks (where you can enjoy boating, nightlife and daytime activities).
We suggest planning at least two days in the area so you can visit Bennett Springs, go eat and shop with the Amish in Lead Mine, MO, then head to the lake for some fun in the sun or (depending on the time of year), the Pumpkin Patch! Oh, and don't forget to allow a couple of hours to visit and tour the castle ruins at Ha Ha Tonka in Camdenton, MO. If thrifting and antiquing is your thing, head to Camdenton, 25 minutes away, or Springfield, a nice scenic one-hour drive.

PRESTON'S PATH
HIKING PATH
Preston's Path is named after our grandson. When he was about one years old, we started pulling him around this path in a wagon behind a lawn mower. He loved it! Being a city kid, he is enamored with the woods.
The path winds through our property, and we recently decided to expand the path to meander more through the actual wooded acreage. So we have begun cutting a path that goes deeper in to the woods.
We have also added a clearing with a picnic table back there for a resting spot and possible picnic lunch for our guests to enjoy.
